What is the Annual Australian Qur’an Competition?

The Annual Australian Qur’an Competition is a national platform that brings together communities across Australia to honour the Qur’an through recitation, memorisation and excellence in delivery. It is designed to uphold the tradition of Qur’anic recitation while nurturing the next generation.

AAQC was established and is run by a dedicated team of young Australian Muslims committed to serving the Qur'an and the community. The competition is guided by recognised scholars and qualified qurrā' who ensure the highest standards of integrity and adab throughout.

AAQC operates independently. It is not formally affiliated with any government body. The competition is guided by scholars and shaped by the broader Australian Muslim community.

AAQC is made possible through the generous support of values-aligned sponsors and donors who contribute as an act of service (khidmah). Sponsorship opportunities are available for organisations wishing to support the competition.

There are several ways to support AAQC — as a volunteer, sponsor or community partner. If you are interested in contributing, please reach out to us at info@aaqc.com.au.

For any enquiries not covered on this website, please contact the AAQC team at info@aaqc.com.au. We aim to respond within two business days.
